Acceptance and the educational nature of everything here
By accessing getmydaysback.com or purchasing any membership or product, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Disclaimer — which is incorporated into these terms in full. The core of that disclaimer bears repeating here: Get My Days Back is an educational publisher, not a law firm; nothing we provide is legal advice; and no attorney-client relationship is created by anything on this site or in our services.
You agree to use our materials as what they are: general legal information and self-help education about the federal prison system. You — and, for filings, the person in custody acting pro se — remain solely responsible for all decisions, filings, deadlines, and outcomes. You agree not to represent our materials to any court, agency, or person as legal advice or as the work of an attorney.
Memberships, purchases, and refunds
Membership tiers, prices, and what each includes are published on the membership page and at checkout. Subscriptions bill on the cycle you select (monthly or annual) until cancelled; you may cancel at any time, which stops future billing while leaving access in place through the period already paid. Prices may change prospectively with notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
Digital products (workbooks, template libraries) are delivered electronically. Because digital goods cannot be returned, purchases are generally final once delivered — but we would rather fix a problem than keep an unhappy family’s money: if something we sold did not work as described, contact us at contact@getmydaysback.com within 14 days and we will make it right, up to and including a refund. One-time services (such as the informational computation review) are described at purchase and governed by those descriptions plus these terms.
Intellectual property and permitted use
All content on this site and in our products — guides, workbooks, templates, the calculator, designs, and text — is copyrighted by Get My Days Back. You are welcome and encouraged to use it for yourself and your family, including printing guides and mailing them to a loved one in custody, and completing our educational templates for the filer’s own pro se use.
You may not republish, resell, redistribute, scrape for republication, or incorporate our materials into a competing product or service without written permission. Linking to any page is always welcome. Member accounts and purchased materials are for one household; sharing paid materials beyond your household defeats the affordable-pricing model that keeps this resource cheap for everyone.
Acceptable use and accuracy
You agree not to use this site or our services for any unlawful purpose; not to submit false information intended to deceive; not to attempt to disrupt, probe, or overload the site; and not to use our materials to provide legal services to third parties, which may constitute unauthorized practice of law in your jurisdiction.
We work hard on accuracy — every guide carries a review date and our sources page shows our methodology — but the law changes and errors are possible. Materials are provided as is, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Verify current law against primary sources before acting.
Liability, governing law, and housekeeping
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the site or our products is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including outcomes of any filing or proceeding. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder stands. We may update these terms prospectively by posting the revised version with a new review date. Questions: contact@getmydaysback.com.
